Bucks secore double T20 wins in friendlies v Herts

Bucks completed the warm-up for their National Counties T20 Championship with two wins over Hertfordshire in a friendly double-header at Slough on Easter Monday.
Batting first in both T20 games on a big playing area, Bucks secured victories by 34 runs and 10 runs.
Top scorer for Bucks in both games was Ross Richardson with 39 and 41 not out, while disciplined bowling and smart fielding restricted the Herts batsmen's scoring opportunities. Indeed Herts' top-scorer on the day was Bucks batsman Dan Ogden, who made 68 not out against his teammates in the second game.
Scores:
1st game: Bucks 124-9 (20 ovs, R Richardson 39, M Wells 22, B Waring 3-29), Herts 90-8 (20 ovs, D Burnell 38no, J Burden 2-13, U Amjaid 2-13).
2nd game: Bucks 137-7 (20 ovs, R Richardson 41no, M Wells 26), Herts 127-2 (20 ovs, D Ogden 68no, D Chatfield 38).

Bucks open their T20 campaign against Bedfordshire at Dunstable on Sunday, for which they have named a 13-man squad.
Newcomers included are Tring Park seamer Tom Weymes and Halesowen all-rounder Ed Bragg, but with competition for places very fierce, there is no place for former Bucks captain Michael Payne or High Wycombe seamer Cameron Parsons.
