Wells set for Cumbria debut
10 Aug 2021

Young Buckingham batsman Michael Wells will make his National Counties Championsip debut for Bucks in their Eastern Division 2 game against Cumbria at Barrow, starting on Sunday.
Wells is the one change from the Bucks side, who defeated Hertfordshire by ten wickets in two days to retain their hopes of promotion to Division 1. Wells, who was 12th man in that game, replaces Tring Park all-rounder Jack Rodnight.
Victory over Cumbria would give Tom Hampton's team a chance to clinch promotion by beating Northumberland at Chesham the following week.
Bucks team: Tom Hampton (H Wycombe) capt, Eliot Callis  (H Wycombe), AJ Woodland (H Wycombe), Adam King (Buckingham), Alexei Kervezee (Halesowen), Michael Payne (Amersham), Ross Richardson  (Whitburn), Michael Wells  (Buckingham) , Cam Parsons (H Wycombe), Stephen Croft (Harefield), Connor Haddow (H Wycombe).
