We are very sorry to have to pass on this sad news that Robin Peppiatt has died. Robin was a delightful gentleman and those of you who did not know him may be interested to see the note below:

He played 34 matches between 1948 and 1965, occasionally as captain. Douglas Miller in his excellent history of club stated “his greater contribution to the Bucks cause was off the field”. He joined the committee in 1952 and thereafter served continuously until he became President in 1996. He fulfilled his stated intention of stepping down 5 years later, in order that others might benefit from the honour; at that point he was elected an Honorary Life Member. He maintained a close interest in the club and he often phoned Kevin Beaumont during a season to catch up on the club'sprogress.
